Photo by me, I tried but couldn't fit it all in frame. :(

A collaboration between several universities and pharmaceutical companies, the Francis Crick Institute is a huge set of research laboratories.

Most of it is off limits to the public but there’s a smallish area around the cafe at the front of the building that hosts free exhibitions.

Wellcome Collection

Located in Bloomsbury

The Wellcome Collection is a short walk away from The Crick Institute across Euston Road. It offers a wider selection of exhibitions along similar biomedical themes.

It is more of a tourist attraction than The Crick Institute - which is first and foremost a working laboratory - but the upper floors house reading rooms and a reference library so there’s still an academic flavour to the place.
