Located opposite the O2 Arena (neé Millenium Dome) and a short walk to the cable car,
the NOW gallery is smaller than I thought, with no permanent collection,
but worth a look if there’s an exhibition on.
Facilities are limited and the space is further reduced by half of the ground floor
being given over to a glossy sales and marketing suite for the various flats that have sprung up
in the area. I found that a bit objectionable - it makes it feel like the
gallery is a bit of a token gesture on the part of the developers - still, I guess
even a token gesture is still a gesture.
